چکیده

We derive a set of equations expressing the parameters of the magnetic interactions characterizing a strongly correlated electronic system in terms of singleelectron Green’s functions and self-energies. This allows to establish a mapping between the initial electronic system and a spin model including up to quadratic interactions between the effective spins, with a general interaction (exchange) tensor that accounts for anisotropic exchange, Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction and other symmetric terms such as dipole-dipole interaction. We present the formulas in a format that can be used for computations via Dynamical Mean Field Theory algorithms.

It is a common knowledge that the formation of electron pairs is a necessary ingredient of any theoretical work describing superconductivity. Thus, finding the mechanism of the formation of the electron pairs is of utmost importance. There are some experiments on high transition temperature superconductors which support the electron-phonon (e-ph) interactions as the pairing mechanism (ARPES),...

Ordered states of Manganite and Dynamical mean-field theory

Pure LaMnO3 is an insulator. But, when doped with appropriate amount of doubly valenced impurities, it becomes a conductor retaining the ferromagnetism. Notion of double exchange has been devised to explain this phenomena. Along with this ferromagnetic conductivity, manganites show a variety of physical properties. Some of spin, charge, and orbital orderings are illustrated. Neutron scattering ...

High-spin to low-spin and orbital polarization transitions in multiorbital Mott systems.

We study the interplay of crystal field splitting and Hund coupling in a two-orbital model which captures the essential physics of systems with two electrons or holes in the e(g) shell. We use single site dynamical mean field theory with a recently developed impurity solver, which is able to access strong couplings and low temperatures. The fillings of the orbitals and the location of phase bou...

Mott transitions in two-orbital Hubbard systems

We investigate the Mott transitions in two-orbital Hubbard systems. Applying the dynamical mean field theory and the self-energy functional approach, we discuss the stability of itinerant quasi-particle states in each band. It is shown that separate Mott transitions occur at different Coulomb interaction strengths in general. On the other hand, if some special conditions are satisfied for the i...

Noncollinear magnetic order stabilized by entangled spin-orbital fluctuations.

Quantum phase transitions in the two-dimensional Kugel-Khomskii model on a square lattice are studied using the plaquette mean field theory and the entanglement renormalization Ansatz. When 3z(2)-r(2) orbitals are favored by the crystal field and Hund's exchange is finite, both methods give a noncollinear exotic magnetic order that consists of four sublattices with mutually orthogonal nearest-n...
